West Indies make a joke of Pakistan in April Fool’s Day clash
From the Blog enDefending champions West Indies raced through the 2014 World T20 semi-finals on Tuesday, beating Pakistan as if they were minnows. West Indies posted 84-run victory over Pakistan in a decisive Super-10 match in Dhaka. Having lost their top-order early, West Indies recovered to amass 166-6 after electing to bat. Pakistan’s batting line-up imploded as three wickets apiece by West Indies spin duo Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree collapsed green shirts for 82 in the 18th over. The West Indies finished second behind unbeaten India in group two and will face group one toppers Sri Lanka in the first semi-final to be played in Dhaka on Thursday.
