عاشق لوگ

From the Blog khawarkingحکایات انبیاء میں لکھا ہے کہ سلیمان علیہ سلام کے دربار میں ، اوپر گنبد میں ایک چڑا اپنی چڑیا کو منا رہا تھا۔ چڑا چڑیا کو کہتا ہے ، تم مجھے نہیں جانتی ہو ، میں ! اگر پر ماروں تو یہ گنبد گرا کر ڈھیر کر دوں !!۔ سلیمان علیہ سلام جو کہ جانوروں کی بولی بھی جانتے تھے ، انہوں نے یہ سنا تو چڑے کو اپنے پاس بلایا ور پوچھنے لگے کہ یہ تم کیا کہہ رہے تھے ؟ چڑے نے کہا ، حضور ! عاشقوں کی باتیں ایسی ہی ہوتی ہیں ۔ سلیام علیہ سلام نے مسکرا کر کہا ، جاؤ ، لیکن بڑی بڑی نہ چھوڑا کرو!!۔ جب چڑا واپس چڑیا کے پاس پہنچا تو چڑیا نے پوچھا کہ سلیمان علیہ سلام کیا کہہ رہے تھے؟ چڑے نے چڑیا کو بتایا کہ کہہ رہے تھے ایسا نہ کرنا ، گنبد گرنے سے بڑا نقصان ہو جائے گا!!!۔ صدیاں گزر گئیں لیکن اج بھی عاشقوں کا یہ حال ہے کہ بڑی بڑی چھوڑتے ہیں لیکن مشعوق اب سادہ نہیں رہے ۔ ایک مرغا کسی مرغی کو کہہ رہا تھا کہ جان من میںpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full PostComments

From the Blog mehmalPakistani journalists are no strangers to danger. In the old days, they faced threats from the government, military establishment, political parties, goons, mafia and odd militant groups but now things have changed for the worse. From their phones being tapped by state agencies to their movements being monitored both by state and non-state actors, not only are their lives devoid of any privacy but also those who have received threats from either state or non-state actors, have to constantly look over their shoulder. When journalists become news themselves, it shows how precarious the situation really is. We have known for a long time now that non-state actors have become as powerful as state actors.
