Sethi admits ECB’s annoyance over Latif’s appointment
From the Blog pkhope 8009786361The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Najam Sethi has admitted that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) was seemingly unhappy over Rashid Latif’s appointment; however he handed over the post of chief selector to the former Wicket-keeper, who, according to him, failed to figure out the range of the key post. “I nominated Rashid Latif as Chief Selector despite common knowledge that his support of Danish Kaneria’s case was not appreciated by the British cricket establishment”, said Najam Sethi while talking to this correspondent for News One TV. “If he had accepted the post he would have been a deterrent to corrupt elements in Pakistan cricket because of his power as Chief Selector to blacklist potentially corrupt players from national team”, added Sepakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
