Thar Tragedy
From the Blog pkhope There is a desert where the dunes are deceiving, where rain kisses the sand once in a decade, where people are tough though they still need food and water and medicine. There is a desert which enjoys exquisite and unique beauty, yet the people are impoverished. Many of them have died, and that includes huge amount of children. This desert isn't in Africa. This is in the nuclear power of the world, Pakistan. This is in the country where at the same time grand festivals are being celebrated on the provincial level. This is where the whole nation is transfixed on the Cricket and Veena Malik, instead of providing some morsels for the people who are on their last stages. This is Thar of Pakistan.
