Drone Strikes Declared Illegal By European Union

From the Blog iabhopal Europe's politicians have voted by a landslide to propose a ban on US drone strikes that have killed thousands in Yemen and Pakistan, calling the killings "unlawful". The European Parliament voted by a majority of 534 to 49 MEPs to support a resolution demanding that EU Member States "do not perpetrate unlawful targeted killings or facilitate such killings by other states", and calling on them to "oppose and ban practices of extra judicial targeted killings." Green MEP and chair of the Parliament's sub-committee on human rights Barbara Lochbihler said: "The European Parliament has today raised serious concerns with the use of military drones and the deaths of thousands of civilians resulting from drone strikes. The Pakistani fascination with early marriage

From the Blog aishaq7[image: Image] Girl, 20 and Man, 29 – a Pakistani match made in heaven Hello kids. Today, I want to talk to you about marriage. Specifically, I want to talk about girls who are or have gotten married early on in their lives. It seems that in Pakistan virtually every girl is considered to be of nubile age. We read, not infrequently, of 10/11 year old girls getting married off to men twice (thrice?) their age. The reaction that follows in cases like these in the social media circles I am part of is standard: there is general outrage, venting through status updates, very public discussions via status comments (affirmations of which are denoted through 'likes') and eventually a slight fizzling out following which those same social media circus performers get on with their lives. From the Blog ashrafiya [image: 20140301-103730.jpg] Hakim al Umma Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanawi (Allah have mercy on him) said: If a person (who can afford better) wears cheap and low quality clothing, he … will become preoccupied with his clothes by either (continuously) thinking how low and humble he is or by thinking that his nafs (lower self) is so annihilated, he doesn't care about dignity and honor. This is also preoccupation in thoughts (which should be avoided). Maulana Hamood Aleem sahib db pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full PostComments

The Butterfly Effect - Outfit Of The Day

From the Blog sarahassansblog Sorry I haven't been posting regularly. It's just that with work and studies on the side, it gets a little difficult for me to manage the blog alone; usually my sister and I handle everything but since she was busy, I couldn't keep up. The good news is my sister is done with her exams so she's on board again. Hope to post more regularly. I love you sister! ^_^ I am wearing butterflies and I feel like one too. I hope you like the post. ♥ Top: Tailored (Ashiana Mall) Tights: Glam Shoes: Red Rock Jewelry: Saffron & Aliexpress.com Bag: *Amna.Z* pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full PostComments
