Expo 2020 Vote: Pakistan is not Slave of UAE
From the Blog pkhope Before admonishing and chastising Pakistan, the UAE state newspaper Gulf News must keep in their perspective that Pakistan is not their satellite country and we are a sovereign nation. To who we vote for at the international level is our decision, and we are not duty bound to vote for any of the UAE state at any level. Its our choice and we will decide it. For the World Expo -2020, Turkey had asked Pakistan way before during last government and the then government in Islamabad had given their promise in written at that time in March 2011. UAE, taking Pakistan for granted ordered Pakistan at the last moment to vote for them, and present regime told them about previous commitment with Turkey.
