Featured Kickstarter - Take your pick: The FORCE or the DARK SIDE!
From the Blog smacula By now you have probably already heard about how there was a petition made to the Whitehouse to build a Death Star, and they politely said no. However, it seems that there is no stopping these forces of evil, as they have taken to everyone's favourite crowd funding website: Kickstarter! [image: image] They want the nice (BAD) people of the world to contribute a cool 20 million of their hard earned money so that they can use their forced to build one. Actually, they need a lot more, but the first 20 million will help them create the blue prints as well as get some chicken wire that will protect 'THAT' exhaust port. They imagine the actual project will cost about $850 zillion, and it will be all open source. Multiculturalism

It is a culture in it's own right, with it's own central principles to which participant cultures agree to submit. Participant cultures are rarely by origin multicultural. Often it requires certain adaptations on part of the cultural adherents for a culture to become compatible with a multicultural society. There is a vaguely defined and arbitrary distinction between public and private, a line that may be drawn differently in different multicultural societies, which requires cultures to cede the public realm to a common neutral ground.
