Farewell 2010
From the Blog Housewife's Utopia: Farewell 2010 - Last night I bid 2010 adieu and welcomed 2011. Before I start the new year I wanted to look back to see what I had learnt from it. In this year I learnt many things for example blogging basics, how to handle wordpress and a bit of digital scrapbooking and this too because of my daughter. I am learning digital scrapbooking because I wanted to preserve the memories of motherhood as these are the most precious times of my life. Moreover I learnt to become a mom and I am still learning to be a good mother. Right now I am doing more than I have ever done in my life and I am enjoying every minute of it. There is no time to relax in motherhood. Everyday of your life you are put to a test. There were sleepless nights, days of frequent visits to the bathroom while she was getting potty trained. The agony and pain when she got sick and the feeling of helplessness when she used to cry in pain. And then this feeling of tremendous joy when I look at her laughing with dimpled cheeks. All this and so much more I experienced in 2010. Today I am also going to have a look at the past year with my blog Housewife's Utopia. In this year I decided to make it more public and stand out so that others can also share with me the joy and excitement I feel while blogging. In 2010 I became more aware of my motherhood status and thus I became more expressive about it here on the blog.
