Jazz Takes Back 'Na Qabil-e-Yaqeen' Offer

From the Blog ProPakistani: Jazz Takes Back 'Na Qabil-e-Yaqeen' Offer - Jazz Takes Back 'Na Qabil-e-Yaqeen' Offer is a post from: ProPakistani Mobilink has taken back its Na Qabil-e-Yaqeen offer , that allowed unlimited calling, round the clock, on three FnF numbers against a daily rental of Rs. 6.99 plus tax per day. This promotion ran for some 35 days in total. Lately, Mobilink has been busy with introduction of bundle offers with heavy campaigns. However, Company is now being observed as tending towards capped offers and not unlimited calling/SMSes. It is said that Qabil-e-Yaqeen offer was causing serious network overload to Mobilink. Keeping in view the recent revision on SMS plus package and with withdrawal of Na Qabil-e-Yaqeen offer, it seems Mobilink is undergoing capacity issues. WANT SOME FUN IN ANTALYA?

From the Blog GypSy: WANT SOME FUN IN ANTALYA? - I went out for a stroll after midnight to see what was around only to find out that other than a few dogs, I was the only one on the road. I walked in cold for fifteen minutes and then decided to head back to the hotel. While I was walking back, a car stopped behind me. I turned back and saw a bald guy coming out. I could hear his footsteps behind me when I reached nearer to the hotel. He was walking faster than I was which is rare as I walk very fast. While he crossed me, he looked at me and smiled. Out of courtesy, I smiled back. "Hi." The bald man said. "Where are you from?" "Pakistan." I smiled again. "You are Turkish?" He must be in his early and looked a bit like Sir Ben Kingsley. "Yes. But from the other side. The Black Sea." "Oh… I came from Saudi Arabia though." I was happy to make conversation with someone who could speak English. "Are you alone?" "Yes…" it was after I said that Yes I realized that something was fishy. "I am also alone!" Yes… that's what he said and somehow I knew that was coming. I did not say anything and sped up. "Want to have some fun in Antalya? I can come to your room. What is your room number?" I hurried into the hotel only to see him coming in behind me. I stopped for a while contemplating my strategy. It was quite possible that he would have come to my room. If I stayed in the lobby, he could have sat with me and could have given wrong signals to the hotel staff. I still decided to sit in the lobby. He waited for a while and then went to the washrooms area. That's when I ran to the elevator and started breathing again when I reached my room. 'Turkey mein 2 Tharki'. Both with different preferences in life. This is the fourth such encounter I have had in my life. I will write about the other three some other time. I know it was a bad decision to continue with the trip to Antalya. Instead of cutting it short, I should have totally canceled it. I have no idea what I am doing here for the last twenty hours or so. I am staying in a wonderful beautiful resort, ideal for family holiday. It is a honeymoon spot full of mushy mushy couples. Every time I go out in the lobby or for food, they give me the looks you would give a women wearing skirt in Multan. I avoid their eyes but they know that I could not be there for business as nobody goes there for business. Naturally, nobody goes there alone for the honeymoon either. I have taken full-board package so I am entitled to all food and drink whenever and wherever in the hotel. The problem is, I don't eat what they make and I don't drink. Those who don't know, I don't even drink soft drinks. This full board literally means water, bread, butter, yogurt and coffee for me. Nobody in this hotel understands English. I love water. The hotel has beautiful pools and it's at the beach front. Perfect, isn't it? The problem, however, is that the water is freezing. Oh, and it also has kids playing areas which could be perfect for Misil, but she is not there. What does that leave me with? Free internet in the lobby ignoring the eyes of mushy couples. Hold on, not so fast. While I was surfing the net in the lobby at midnight, suddenly all the lights went off. I thought it was temporary but the lights did not turn on again for half an hour. Then I asked a guy passing by in dark if he could turn the lights on. He very clearly told me to go to my room as there was no plan to turn the lights on. They turn the lights off at midnight. Is WAPDA operating in Turkey too? As if this was not enough, last night's incident took that misery to a new height. I will go out for a bit of photography in a while. . Read Full PostComments
