Even though she's dead, but it still hurts to know that someone went through hell. Many people will not even believe her story. Sometimes there is no explanation & good people suffer till the end. They have never-ending trials. They are being wronged on a daily basis & the culprits get away. Some people make it a point in life that they hurt others by their words. Some stoop down too low & choose strangely evil paths. And somehow they all succeed in evil missions, which is not at all fair. The only question I have is: where is God & why is He silent? No doubt truth is stranger than fiction & real life stories are more haunting than the ones we see on TV or read about in books. You may believe what you see on the screen or what you read cause it might make sense, but in real life, it's almost impossible to solve puzzles. There can be no plausible explanation & we seem like idiots if we persist in believing, but we do. I personally do not know anyone who has been possessed. I've heard cases about black magic. The house in which we lived in PECHS for 20 years was haunted but only my elder brother, Z & I have seen strange things happening over there. The rest didn't believe in anything as they never experienced anything of the sort. All through my life I have never met anyone who believes in supernatural stuff who hasn't experienced anything of the sort. Which means we don't have very broad visions. We cannot experience everything to know that it exists I guess. . Read Full Post
Fails to fill breaks
From the Blog Speak Your Mind!!!: Break Ke Baad review: Fails to fill breaks - It is an old Bollywood masala. The foundation of the film is very weak and there is lack of concentration in the comedy part. The story of the film revolves around Abhay (Imran Khan) and Aaliya (Deepika Padukone). They are good old friends. Aaliya doesn’t care much about relationships whereas Abhay respects relationships. You have to watch the movie to know whether Aaliya realizes her mistakes and starts trusting in relationships. . Read Full Post
Sonakshi donning a glamorous avatar
From the Blog Speak Your Mind!!!: Sonakshi donning a glamorous avatar - Yes, Sonakshi would be donning a glamorous avatar for her just announced film with Akshay. “Sonakshi plays an urban girl in the film so yes, she would be seen in the Western outfits”, confirms Shirish for whom this would be his second directorial outing after JAAN-E-MANN, “I am aware that audience want more of her after DABANGG. With our film, there would be a handful of her as she has a role of substance. She isn’t there just for 3-4 scenes.” Farah Khan too is aware about the expectations and promises that there would be a different side of Sonakshi that audience will see. “Well, I have patted myself on my back for sure. I have liked what I see on screen. It is good to see that what was promised has translated well on screen as well. I am very happy about that and of course people around me are happy as well. However, if I say that I have arrived, it would equate to overconfidence. I don’t want that feeling to set in ever. That’s not me” said Sonakshi . Read Full Post
No jeans, says Subhash Ghai
From the Blog Speak Your Mind!!!: No jeans, says Subhash Ghai - Filmmaker Subhash Ghai says he wants youngsters to shun Western culture and avoid jeans. “I would not want the younger generation to wear jeans anymore,” said Ghai, who has directed and produced several super hit films where his actresses wore exotic Western outfits. “The youngsters today should shed their Western faces or Western masks that they are wearing,” he said. “Children must build national character, not corrupt character,” said Ghai. He further said cinema was a great way to incorporate national character in youngsters. “Not just independent or rich cinema, even in an out and out commercial film there are four-five things which can make someone like a rickshawala stop to think and change his perception about issues,” he said. Advising young filmmakers to learn to accept all kinds of cinema, Ghai said it was his mentor, Bengali filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak, who made him realize the importance of having an open, accepting mind in cinema. “I give credit to Ritwik Ghatak as my teacher at the Film and Television institute of India (FTII)… he was the one who taught me that being open to all kinds of cinema was important,” he said. .
