From the Blog usefulthought-s - Does work lead to happiness? November 14th, 2010 It is useful and it is possible to distinguish between “work, learning and achieving” and “happiness”. The first helps in dealing with the world, maneuvering around it and getting what we want. However, none of that generates happiness by itself. Happiness is much simpler to get to and comes when one recognizes the (1) people around who care for you, (2) by appreciating the worth of things that are vital that we already have such as shelter & food on the table & by appreciating the countless other things we have. And so our life can become a lot simpler if we are able to de-couple and distinguish the two. My Thoughts
