China Introduces One Dog Policy
From the Blog Speak Your Mind!!!: China Introduces One Dog Policy - Good lord, I got to know such terrible news. I read that China has introduced a ONE DOG Policy now, similar to the One Child Policy that was already implemented for 20 years or more. Their reason being to control and manage living space since the dog population is over 800,000 and many dogs are not registered. They feel too many dogs is unhealthy, therefore, one household can have only one dog. No more, no less. The puppies to be given to no dog households or government approved agencies before they are 3 months old. I am wondering now, these Chinese are so brutal. How will the dogs have babies when there is only 1 dog per household? Perhaps they want to have just another reason to skin alive innocent animals or eat up dog meat and they try to act up all responsible by saying they are controlling and saving their society’s environment. In a country, where women are forcibly taken away to abort their pregnancy in the 8th month without their consent, I am pretty sure, when it comes to controlling animal population they would be more brutal. This is equally bad and abnormal like those puppy mills we see. Some residents and animal lovers in China have complained that rather than implementing such laws, the government needs to educate people about pet care, neutering animals etc so that the population is controlled. Well, I don’t know about others…I am not so happy to hear this. . Read Full Post
