Anjum Rahman of Express 24/7, we have confirmed, has joined Telenor as Director Corporate Communications & Responsibility. She will be taking charge from November 1st and will be based at the company's headquarters in Islamabad. Before her this assignment, Anjum has served Express News 24/7 as senior Producer/Special Correspondent. There she has been host of the TV news & current affairs talkshow 'The Other Line'. Anjum has also contributed to The Express Tribune for a while. Prior to her association with Express Group, she worked as Senior Media & Advocacy Officer at the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad from 2004 to 2008. Through an email Aamir Ibrahim, Chief Strategy Officer & VP Corporate Affairs Telenor Pakistan, confirmed us Anjum's appointment. He further commented: "Telenor Pakistan welcomes onboard Anjum Rahman and looks forward to working with her on developing stronger relations with the media, and on expanding the scope of the company's corporate responsibility initiatives." From the Blog Koolmuzone: Ali Zafar recorded a rock song for "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" - As we all know that " Mere Brother Ki Dulhan " is a musical romantic comedy and Ali Zafar will be seen singing and strumming the guitar for his fiancé ( Katrina Kaif ) in the film. We have already reported that Ali will be singing three songs in the film, one of them will be a rock song. The married 30-year old said: Just got done recording a Rock song at Yash Raj studios. Amazing set up and engineers to work with. Will update more on it later. Katrina Kaif, the leading actress of the film is also busy learning how to play the guitar from the Prince of Pop. Incidentally, Ali Zafar is a professional guitar player and is teaching Katrina how to play the instrument. Unit sources inform that Katrina is thoroughly enjoying her music lessons. The actress has learnt four chords and is planning to use her skills in a scene in the movie. Ali said: She wants to be a rock star by the end of the shoot, she's a quick learner. She's promised me that if our film does a business of Rs 60 crore, she will do a music video with me. We usually only see heroes strumming the guitar but this will be the first time when a heroine will be playing an instrument on screen. The film is scheduled for a mid-2011 release. I am alone on the roof and feeling lonely. You might be thinking why I used word 'lonely' when I already mention 'alone'.
