Minion Hat

At some movement of overwhelming maternal affection, I promised her a minion hat a couple of weeks ago. So this had to be the project marking my post-partum recovery. I used this pattern for the basic hat pattern (it is an awesome pattern by the way, and I was much tempted to cast-on an actual fair-isle version) and improvised with all the minion components. The ruinous tombs are crafted with slabs of worked sandstone in the same style as the Chaukundi tombs of Sindh — tombs that can also be found at several sites in adjacent parts of Balochistan. Samsung Electronics Announces Fourth Quarter & FY 2013 Results

One Mile

I mean, You got to cover one mile track in 6 minutes. Of course now that is nothing for me but then it was a big deal. Punjabi Elite and Armed Forces: is there a Connection?

From the Blog pakteahouse *M*ost of the political developments in Pakistan involve armed forces and also Punjab’s politicians as Punjab is the most populous province. Some or the other, a narrative has developed which links Punjab and armed forces (who mostly hail from Punjab) in a conspiring role. Even now as President Zardari is having political problems, several journalists are calling it a conspiracy of Punjab, hatched with the support of armed forces, against smaller provinces. So does such a linkage exist? Can we establish with certainty that army is nothing except an armed wing whose sole existence is to ensure Punjab’s dominance? The five hour flight delay had been exhausting. A skinny, exhausted, red-eyed Kiran clung to Nitu and wept. She didn't want to get on another flight. Yes, its been a long break between fall and spring semesters and ive had a lot of time to indulge myself in the wonderful, magical, albeit fictional but spectacular world of anime and manga. Id say, during the holidays i became an otaku in the Japanese sense of the word, as in my face never saw the light of the sun during this period nor did i 'mingle with my peers' outside of those that exist in the virtual realm. I think it is safe to assume that this has been the most fun ive had in a boring way since i attended a class that had a gassy instructor trying her best not to fart loudly during the lecture. From the Blog allurebyn A few days ago my girls and I visited Roohy's for our usual mani pedis. The spa is located near the Chinese Embassy in Clifton and is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby traffic, making it the perfect place for a relaxing short getaway. I must say I was really impressed with the spa. They had separate areas for hair, manis pedis and other services. The chairs for the manis and pedis were quite high ( the only downside for someone as short as I) but the pedicure basin actually turned into a jaccuzi which was amazing! My favorite part though was the hair wash basins. The chair turned into a reclining massage chair - Bliss at its finest! I opted to have my gel nails done while my friends had manis and pedis. Perhaps my recent experience in Karachi had something to do with it. Karachi is a coastal city in Pakistan and the winters there usually range from pleasant to slightly cold, somewhat like Dubai. Aziz Mian: More than a Qawwal
