Shaikh excused himself, saying Hakim al Umma Thanwi (Allah have mercy on him) would excuse himself from offering advice related to worldly matters. He would say that you can ask me whether something is permissible or impermissible in Shariah, but don't ask me whether I should do this or that. China Relaxes Visa Policy for Pakistanis

MoIT Soon to Notify Rules and SOPs for Cyber Crimes

This was revealed before the Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunications which met with Rubina Khalid in the chair here on Thursday. The committee observed that a lot of responsibilities come on Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the prevention of electronic crimes and besides new rules it also needs new recruitment and gadgets. "Even if we frame the rules, FIA requirements need to be met", Senator Rehman Malik added. ECP to Use Mobile App to Tally Poll Results

From the Blog propakistani The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will follow an innovative approach to convey the results of the General Elections 2018. The setup is called Results Transmission System (RTS) in which an Android-based application will be used to transmit results in real time. Results Transmission System ECP has already conducted tests of the new system at the by-elections in NA-4 Peshawar and PS-114 Karachi constituencies. The presiding officers (PO) enter the polling results in the app which then transmits the data to the ECP servers in real time. The photo of FORM XIV is captured and uploaded on the app as well. The app also automatically uses GPS to record the result's location and the time of the upload.
